That is why National Bridle chose Martin Saddlery to build this superior new Tennessean Marque on the exclusive Gaited Horse Bar Pattern, tested and proven by your professionals at National Bridle. This specific bar pattern, combined with Martin Saddlery's^tm  AXIS technology is specifically designed and handcrafted to fit a wide variety of Tennessee Walking Horses, Missouri Fox Trotters, Rocky Mountain and other gaited breeds.

Axis^tm Saddle Trees:
The quality of a saddle's tree ultimately determines the quality of the finished saddle. To make the highest quality saddle possible, you have to start with the best fitting tree for the horse. The Axis^tm tree by Martin is made from the highest quality kiln-dried South Dakota white pine, hand cut and graded for consistency. With this process, Martin controls the tree's integrity from start to finish, guaranteeing its superior strength and symmetrical fit. Once the tree is made, it is fiberglass coated within 72 hours to ensure the wood is completely sealed and protected from the climate, making it virtually ageless. The AXIS^tm is trusted by the most respected professionals in the industry who know that the tree is most important part of their saddle.

Adjustable Rigging^tm by Martin:
The new Tennessean Marque comes with the patented in-skirt Adjustable Rigging. Its design enables you to set your saddle to Extra Full, Full Forward, Full or 7/8ths, making it completely adjustable to any horse your saddle is placed on. No matter what horse you are riding, the Adjustable Rigging gives you the capability to place your saddle specific to that horse's back and then adjust the rigging placement to allow for the best fit. Horses are all built differently and the Adjustable Rigging allows you to achieve proper rigging placement regardless of conformation. It is securely mounted using the same method as a standard in-skirt D-ring. The moveable latigo keeper contains a spring loaded locking mechanism that is easy to adjust and locks in place to always stay put. Because it is by Martin, the Adjustable Rigging has been rigorously tested and proven by trainers and professionals.

Adjustable Rigging Instructions:

Step 1 - Find the back edge of the horse's scapula.







Step 2 - Saddle your horse, aligning the front concho no farther forward than the back edge of the horse's scapula located in step 1.





Step 3 - Move the Adjustable Rigging into the position that best aligns your cinch and latigo straight up and down to the heart girth.





Step 4 - Check both sides of the saddle and make sure that the Rigging placement is in the exact same location on both sides.
