Cryogenics is a tempering process that deep freezes Oster blades to 300 degrees below zero. As the blades are frozen the steels molecular structure becomes denser and increases the steels durability. Blades start out sharp and stay sharper longer. In addition, material changes have been implemented which have removed stress from the clippers, allowing for less wear on the parts and cooler blade and clipper temperatures. Size 10: Medium general and under body use. Size 15: Medium best all around. Size 30: Close preferred for show clips. Size 40: Ears and for clipping surgical areas.
