Cryogenics is a tempering process that deep freezes Oster blades to 300 degress below zero. As the blades are frozen the steels molecular structure becomes denser and increases the steel's durability. Blades start out sharp and stay sharper longer. Clipper blade hint; for longer lasting blades, always clean blade before using as they are shipped with a thin protective coating on the blade. Use blade wash between clippings to clean thoroughly, keeping your blades sharp for a longer period of time.
